Head Shot

Road shows! Road shows!

I had Road shows everyday for the whole of last week!

I just finished the final one (hopefully) for this season. :)

Oh man, I feel like I just got hit in the head and I'm still spinning from its effects...

need... time... to... recover...

The Ultimate Lamers United

I just inherited sec school students in my ministry out of the blue.

I really have no idea how it happened, but one day the sec school cell just exploded.

It used to be just 3 guys and a bunch of other ppl who are under the MIA list.

But now, we have at least 7 or 8 regulars attending the cell. Cool... :)

God is great or what?? MORE LORD!!

Well, I'm really encouraged by their initiative and creativity. I mean, in just a week or 2, they had already started a blog and they're even designing T-shirts and their own Lamers' logo!

Amazing!

Whoa... every weekend we'd have cell and then go for youth service and after that have dinner. It's always such fun and joy to be around tthem. They have such E.N.E.R.G.Y.! You know it's like trying to baby-sit 3 or 4 Tiggers at one shot.

man... thought I'm too old for this liao... old man like me only want to sit at kopitiam, relac one corner and lim kopi at night. Nowadays more high class, go Starbucks or Coffee Bean. :P the chair nicer to sit la...

But whatever it is, Lamers, I'm really blessed by you bunch of crazy, hyper, super lame ppl.

ROCK ON!! :)

Well, just on sat, I learned a song from Jian Xing about Beer sung by Homer. I've been entertaining like-minded ppl ever since. Woo Hoo! Doh!

Think I'm having a second puberty.

Yunan Blues

My parents are away in Yunan.

They are like the most niam couple I've ever seen at their age. They do everything together! Breakfast la, go market la, almost everywhere! They go out pak tor almost every weekend, if not, they'd just stay at home watch tv and keep each other company. There's hardly a time when I do not see them together.

Now, they're away on holiday TOGETHER, at Yunan. Shiok... they like have honeymoon every year like that. Amazing man...

And really, in all my 22 years, I've never seen them quarrel before. AT all. serious.

What in the world? Amazing... but that in a large part also comes from my dad's patience towards my mum. She's quite hot really. I mean, temperament wise.

And my dad has always been patiently giving in to her and just being there for her, though she can be quite unreasonable sometimes... oops... haha... I get my high D and I from her... so we clash pretty often... hahaha...

but what the heck, now that they're gone and I have all the house to myself...

I feel...

lonely...

man... I really missed them the first few days they're gone. You know how somebody is always around you and you never really appreciated them until they're gone? Yeah, I now realised I have taken their presencce for granted.

Come home quick ma and pa!

sniff... really miss you...

Well, at least I'm glad that I took up the courage and smsed them that I missed them. Hope they didn't like treat it as some kinda joke and delete my sms into infospace. They did reply though, but it was all very informational:

"ok, thanks for the blessing. Going Shangri-la tmr."

O-Kay... well, nuff said. I still love them anyway. :)

think when they're back, I'll go give them a big hug each... :)
